Tania Tupu (Ngāti Porou) is a renowned Māori artist and designer whose contemporary jewellery reflects Māori and Pacific narratives with elegance and strength. Since 2006, her work has been exhibited in galleries throughout Aotearoa, Australia, and the Pacific, gaining recognition for its ability to weave culture, identity, and modern design into wearable art.
Alongside her jewellery, Tania has extensive experience in design, exhibition, and retail leadership, currently serving as General Manager of Te Papa Stores at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa. Her mahi continues to shape visibility and opportunities for Māori art across Aotearoa and beyond.
