Daedline 25th April. ARCHITECTURE The "Luis Ferreira Alves International Photography Competition | A Contemporary Look at Architecture" is a biennial programme. It aims to honour the person and the work of this outstanding photographer, who bridged the gap between analogue and digital photography and whose work is recognised both nationally and internationally.

Deadline - 1st September 2025 Cultural Heritage and TradeThis category aims to celebrate and support efforts to preserve and promote cultural heritage through creative means. By highlighting the importance of cultural heritage, this category encourages participants to engage with and sustain the traditions and practices that define their cultural identities. It also promotes the idea that cultural heritage can be a source of innovation and economic development, particularly through sustainable and ethical tourism initiatives.‍Digital InnovationThis category aims to celebrate the innovative use of technology in the creative industries, encouraging participants to explore new possibilities and create groundbreaking digital experiences. By highlighting the intersection of creativity and technology, this category seeks to inspire the next generation of digital innovators.

The UMP Festival 2025 – The Elevation has officially launched its Call for Creatives, inviting artists, musicians, filmmakers, designers, poets, and performers from around the world to apply for a chance to showcase their talent at one of Africa’s most dynamic cultural festivals.

Deadline 31 March. A Selection Committee, will consider applications from and award grants to applicants who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents, are enrolled for PhD or Masters degrees at New Zealand tertiary institutions and whose research focusses on Māori and Pacific peoples and their cultures.

Deadline 31 May 2025. UNESCO has opened submissions for the 2025 Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation, recognizing outstanding conservation efforts across the region. The Awards celebrate private sector projects and public-private partnerships that demonstrate excellence in preserving historical sites while fostering community engagement.

Deadline 31st May 2025. We invite photographers from around the world to explore and capture the concept of power through artistic, technical and/or human perspectives. This category welcomes all forms of photography including aerial, photojournalism, and even abstract, to highlight the philosophical and aesthetic dimensions of power.

Deadline April 20 2025, The COAL Prize 2025 dedicated to fresh water is a call to fight against the drying up of our sensitivities towards WATER, to elevate it to its rightful place at the heart of general attention, to rehabilitate it in its symbolic and sacred prerogatives, to consider it as the ally and partner of our existences

Deadline April 21st 2025. Photography without Borders uses photography as a means of promoting the inclusion of territories and breaking with processes of exclusion to which vast areas of the planet are subjected by the media.

Deadline April 30. - Contribution level to the protection and transmission of intangible cultural heritage - Efforts to establish a governance system and strengthen social connection and collaboration - Cases of exemplary activities and cooperative development in the field of intangible cultural heritage

Deadline August 31. Designed to support the work of visual artists during the first decade of their careers, the Liu Shiming Artist Grants support the creation or completion of new projects that explore the interplay between traditional cultural or historical influences and contemporary artistic practice. Each year, up to five artists will be selected to receive a $5,000 grant. Visual artists who have been working for at least two years (but not more than 10 years) are invited to apply for a grant in support of a current or new project. Final awardees will be chosen by a distinguished panel consisting of the Foundation’s Curatorial Director, an established artist, and accomplished representatives from a cross section of the art world.

Deadline Date: April 03, 2025. PartArt4OW is looking for interdisciplinary and intersectoral projects mixing art, science and participatory practices in innovative ways. PartArt4OW believes that collaborations between the creative and cultural sectors, the scientific community and the civic society organisations can lead to stronger projects, but this call is also open to individuals.

Deadline June 2, 2025 Experimental Fellowship at Bauhaus Earth welcomes a broad spectrum of emerging international practitioners in the fields of architecture, design and engineering, art, and cross-disciplinary constellations of architectural production. Successful Fellows will have demonstrated a specific relevant individual expertise. The Fellowship projects build on clear research questions and typically target the production of architectural fragments of a manageable scale that serve as tangible, measurable examples of new ways of building. They should aim for longevity and to be integrated in a real social context.

Deadline May 30, 2025 This residency program is open to artists and artist collectives, researchers, and curators of all nationalities, without age restrictions, who can demonstrate a minimum of five years of professional activity and have exhibited their works and research internationally.

Deadline Wednesday 4th June. Writers from around the world are invited to submit their scripts for the 29th International Audio Drama Competition (previously the International Playwriting Competition) which is now open for entries. The global competition, hosted by BBC World Service and the British Council, offers the unique opportunity for writers from outside the UK to use the medium of audio drama to tell stories for an international audience.

L+A+N+D (Landscape + Art + Nature + Design), is an exciting, new arts initiative that annually celebrates innovative design concepts for immersive outdoor installations on a grand scale that spark imaginations, conversations, and a deeper appreciation of the natural world.

Deadline: 9 April, 2025. The Screenrights Cultural Fund makes a difference by supporting people with exciting and innovative new initiatives that foster the creation and appreciation of screen content in Australia and New Zealand. The 2025 total funding pool is $300,000.

Deadline: April 5, 2025 Welcome to the Felix Schoeller Photo Award – An international photography awards for professional photographers and young photographic talent. Felix Schoeller has been organizing and awarding the photography contest every two years since 2013.

Deadline: Jun 01, 2025 The InteRussia program offers non-Russian actors a chance to get acquainted with Russian theatre practices, take part in scenic speech and acting workshops, meet recognised cultural figures, attend performances at leading Moscow theatres, and exchange experience with counterparts from different countries.

Deadline: June 25 2025. "Research Residency Program" gives opportunities to conduct research on arts and culture in the city of Tokyo, targeting both international and local creators in the field of visual art, film, design, architecture, music, sound art, performing art and curation.

Deadline: June 25 2025. Curator Residency Program aims to invite distinguished and highly motivated curators in the field of curation, art criticism, and cultural research from all over the world and offer them with opportunities to conduct research in Tokyo. We provide support to allow curators to develop and present their research and ideas. Selected curators are required to give mentoring sessions to local emerging creators, and deliver a public talk.

Deadline: May 5, 2025. The competition's goal is to showcase the best in mountain-themed photo essays – to recognize outstanding stories told through a series of still images. We invite photographers to submit photos to illustrate their mountain related stories whether culture, adventure, wildlife, sport, environment, or natural history.

Deadline: May 9th, 2025. Fundación Botín announces its new call for projects to award 6 Art Grants meant to support individual art projects that may consist of training (academic or not), research (non academic), and production. Artists of any nationality may apply.

Deadline: Sep 16, 2025 HORIZON GRANT The rapid development and deployment of artificial intelligence are increasingly permeating and transforming economy and society, notably impacting the diverse and dynamic domains of the CCI which, notably, are predominantly composed of SMEs. This transformation offers significant opportunities for innovation, within the CCI and in the economy and society at large, and poses challenges including bias, ethical dilemmas, employment shifts, skills need, and issues related to data access, transparency, preservation of cultural diversity and respect for creators’ rights.

DeadlineJune 1, 2025. The Artist Residency Grants invite both local and international artists to create new work and engage with the Ras Al Khaimah community. Inspired by the Emirates, these artists produce captivating works and share their talents through workshops. Open to all creative practices, the program offers six-month residencies that culminate in an exhibition and a collaborative public art installation.

Dedline April 10 Through its open call, JustFilms supports artist-driven, feature-length documentary films that creatively intersect with the social justice issues that are central to the Ford Foundation’s mission. All projects submitted for JustFilms grants will be assessed on the basis of alignment with Ford Foundation priorities, intersectional representation, innovation in storytelling, and production viability & independence, as well as social and cultural impact.

September 16, 2025 HORIZON GRANT The objective of this topic is to reinforce and mainstream the foster cross-sectorial cooperation among cultural, health, social, youth, education and humanitarian/ relief sectors as well as researchers and academia of Member State and Associated countries. The proposals should include cultural and creative sectors at large and consider both the active and the receptive nature of cultural participation; a special attention should be given to analyse situations in which art and culture are disruptive for mental health or are polarizing, thus having an adverse impact.
